Ken
MacLeod is President of KMA Consultants.
As Vice-President for Development at what is now
Atlantic Baptist University, he led in the creation
and execution of the campaign for a $13-million project,
resulting in a new university campus. Prior to the
campaign, under his direction, ABU’s income
in the $1,000-and-over category rose 750% in a five-year
period.
From 1995 - 1999 Ken
served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of New
Brunswick. He was a member of the Legislature’s
Standing Committee on Crown Corporations, and was Legislative
Assistant to the Minister of Health and Community Services
(1995-97) and to the Minister of Economic Development
and Tourism (1997-1999).
Currently Ken serves
as Chair of two committees of the Greater Moncton International
Airport (GMIA) - the Community Consultative Committee
and Aeronautical Noise Committee, a major consultation
involving GMIA’s various stakeholders. He also
serves on the Board of Directors of Dialogue New Brunswick
and the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra and as Facilitator
of Enterprise Greater Moncton Strategic Partnership.
Besides his extensive
community experience in the Greater Moncton area, Ken
has served on the Boards of national and local charities.
Ken has also been a frequent presenter of seminars
and workshops at fundraising conferences.
His skill in implementing
new initiatives in a disciplined and productive fashion
and his understanding of major gift dynamics has proven
very beneficial to KMA clients.
